Bobcat

The Bobcat rank is for all boys who join Cub Scouting. To earn this rank you need to:

Learn and say the Cub Scout Promise.
Say and explain the Law of the Pack.
Explain the meaning of Webelos ("WE'll BE LOyal Scouts")
Show and explain the Cub Scout sign and handshake.
Say the Cub Scout motto and give the Salute; explain both.
With your parent or guardian, do the activities in How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent's Guide.

The Bobcat badge teaches all new members some basics about being a Cub Scout or Webelos Scout.
